Ongoing Construction

We have settled on an end defector for our robot and have started on the construction of the claw. When building the claw we have to keep in mind the size, shape, and weigh of the cones to figure out how to lift the cones; if the cones are too heavy, which seems to be the problem with the mobile goals, we will need to give the claw more strength by shifting and trying different gear arrangements. Then we will be adding a lifting mechanism to lift the cones off he ground to be put on the goals. The lifting mechanism will have to extend out if we want it to meet the requirements for our robot to be viable during the competition and be high enough to get the stacking bonus .
